Shaun Doherty is Chief Operating Officer at Heritage Advisors taking up the position in January 2021, when the company was founded.
In his role at Heritage Advisors, Shaun is responsible for the identification of scale-up organisations with ambitious growth plans and a history of solid financial development.
As COO of Heritage Advisors, Shaun works closely with the organisation’s multiple partners and investments. As a result, Shaun plays an important and active role in the growth of the investment portfolio.
Prior to joining Heritage Advisors, Shaun worked with the largest interdealer broker in the world responsible for daily transactions in excess of $700 billion. From here he moved to one of the largest providers of IT services in Europe where he led on system change and financial reporting requirements. A key player in strategic change management, Shaun has been responsible for implementation of infrastructure and IT migrations. Shaun has been responsible for developing financial strategies for multi-million-pound projects and providing financial oversight on portfolios in excess of £100 million.
Born in Perth, Shaun attended the University of Western Australia where he read Accounting and Finance before starting his career as a chartered accountant, since obtaining his associate membership in 2001.
